Who We Are
The Sons of The American Legion at Joe Barr Post 194 in Mason, Ohio, proudly supports veterans and their families while honoring the legacy of American service members. Open to male descendants of veterans, this welcoming group meets monthly and plays an active role in the community—whether it’s helping at events, supporting local causes, or raising funds for youth and veteran programs.
With a strong focus on service, patriotism, and community spirit, the Mason SAL squadron is a great way to get involved and give back. Whether you're helping out at a Memorial Day event or volunteering with fellow members, there's always a way to make a difference and connect with others who share your passion.
Who can Join
You must be one of the following:

The male descendant (including stepsons and adopted sons) of a current member of The American Legion.

The male descendant of a veteran who served from December 7, 1941 to today.

The male descendant of a veteran who died after his/her honorable discharge from any service from December 7, 1941 to today.

Monthly Meetings
The Mason Ohio Sons of the Legionnaires Squadron meets once every month on the 3rd Wednesday at 7:00 pm. If you are interested in joining, drop in on a meeting and chat with our members & leadership.
