From the Commander

Greetings Everyone,

With June came the changing of the guard and our annual swearing-in of post officers. During the meeting, District 4 Commander Champ Brown swore in the new post officers.

  • Commander - Patrick Strausbaugh

  • 1st Vice - Brian Harper

  • 2nd Vice - Del Hall

  • Adjutant - Mark Baseman

  • Treasurer - Mark Haake

  • Chaplin - Charles Daniels

  • Sergeant At Arms - James Reilly

Due to the resignation of Commander Woodward, per District By-laws, the First Vice assumes the role of Commander. Normally, Second Vice would move to First Vice, but elected to stay as Second. Brian Hart was then nominated to fill the vacancy and thus voted in as First Vice.

A lot is going on over the next few months. Keep your eyes peeled for details on Music in Mason every Friday, Red Rythm and Boom on July 3rd and new games in the canteen.

Our post will once again be represented in the District Golf Outing. Good luck to those participating!

Respectfully,

Patrick Strausbaugh
